RAW VEGAN GLUTEN FREE DEHYDRATED CREPES RECIPE

If you are reading me for the first time, welcome to my blog, and thank you for stopping by. If you have been here before, thank you for visiting again.

I used to eat french crepes several times a week, and this is what I make when l crave them : raw banana, lemon and cinnamon leather. The lemon makes them not over-sweet, and the cinnamon helps to stabilize blood sugar levels.

For 4 crepes :

2 very ripe bananas (with brown spots)

4 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tsp ground cinnamon

As easy as 1 – 2 – 3.

1. Blend the bananas with the lemon juice and the cinnamon. Pour onto a non stick dehydrator sheet and spread evenly.

2. Dehydrate at 42°C for 6 to 8 hours, or until you can easily peel the banana leather from the non stick sheet.

3. Flip onto the mesh screen and dehydrate further for a couple of hours until both sides are dry, but the leather is still perfectly pliable.

Cut into 4 squares to have 4 crepes.

Alternatively, pour the mixture onto 4 sheets to make 4 circular crepes.

Serve plain or garnished with berries, a berry sauce, a cashew creme filling or raw abricot ‘jam’.
