This raw vegan gluten-free is utterly delicious super easy to throw together in just a few minutes (excluding the soaking time for the sunflower seeds, of course).

For about 1 cup paté :

1/2 cup sunflower seeds, preferably soaked for at least 2 hours

1 large or 2 small red bell pepper(s)

1 clove garlic

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp tamari

1/2 lemon, freshly squeezed

1 tsp smoked paprika powder

1 tsp hungarian paprika powder

1/2 tsp crushed red chilies (optional)

Blend all ingredients until smooth. You will need to stop to scrape down the sides of the blender and/or use your high speed blender’s tamper.

Serve with carrot and cucumber sticks for a stylish appetiser.
